Senior Employment Resources (SER)
is a job placement service that matches companies with job seekers age
50 and above who live in the Northern Virginia suburbs of Washington,
D.C. SER is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that receives
a small portion of its funding from Fairfax County. SER is an equal
opportunity service.

in the Northern Virginia suburbs of Washington, D.C. and who are registered

POLICY
CHANGE: Effective 06/20/08, SER will only be serving
seniors living in the following places:
Alexandria,
VA
Arlington County, VA
Fairfax County, VA
Falls Church, VA
Meetings
of the Job Search Workshop are
held the first and third Tuesdays of the month. The next meetings are
August 5 with Anne Meyrow and August 19 — "Interviewing Skills"
— with Donna Brand.
Classes
at SER
SER is taking the names of anyone interested in: Computer
training — MS Word or MS Excel.
The MS Word classes are $75 for ten (10) hours of instruction
and the MS Excel classes are $50 for six (6) hours
There are just four (4) students per class. Students must be registered
