Senior Employment Resources (SER)
is a job placement service that matches companies with job seekers age
50 and above who live in the Northern Virginia suburbs of Washington,
D.C. SER is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that receives
a small portion of its funding from Fairfax County. SER is an equal
opportunity service.

in the Northern Virginia suburbs of Washington, D.C. and who are registered

Meetings of the Job
Search Workshop are held the first and third Tuesdays of
the month. The next meetings are May 20 (with Donna Brand),
June 3 (with Arne Meyrow) and June 17(with Donna Brand).
Classes
at SER
SER is taking the names of anyone interested in:
Computer training — MS Word or MS Excel.
We will have the classes on Friday afternoons in our office from 1:00-3:00PM
The MS Word classes are $75 for ten (10) hours of instruction
and the MS Excel classes are $50 for six (6) hours
There are just four (4) students in a class. Students must be registered
with SER to take our classes. Call 703-750-1936 or email Office
The five-week class
in Basic Windows and Word is full (begins April 28).
